Toto Cadet Biolet

Tampa Bay Plumbers are also specialists with installing handicapped toilets and toilet fixtures.

Leaking at the base: If a toilet is leaking at the base it is more than likely a main line stoppage, or at least a branch line stoppage. You should check other fixtures (especially ones close by like the tub or shower) to see if they have stopped up. If the have, chances are that you have a main-line stoppage. A mainline stoppage is when the entire house system backs-up. When the whole house backs up often time's material will stay in the tub or showers. The good news is that Tampa Bay Plumbers trucks are outfitted with the most advanced technology for clearing stoppages and inspecting the system once the drain is no longer holding water. Our video inspection equipment provides clear pictures of the inside of the system, without having to bust up flooring or digging. A broken closet flange can also result in leaking at the base.

Supply line is leaking: Leaking supply lines are the number one cause of homes flooding today. When these lines break, they will continue to flood the home or business until someone notices and shuts off the water. In some cases, this can take days or weeks to happen. Often times, homeowners will come home to find water pouring out of the front door (not the way you want to be greeted from vacation is it!). Unless the plumbing fixture required decorative supply lines, Tampa Bay Plumbers ALWAYS uses no-burst supply lines.

Toilet wobbles: There is a saying in plumbing that a toilet wobble is just a young leak. The cause of a wobble can be either the mounts upon which the toilet is placed are wearing out (made out of rubber or wax) or the splits that are used to reduce wobbles in the first place have shifted or have worn out. The technicians of Tampa Bay Plumbers will see if the existing model can be fixed by replacing the defective plumbing parts or if a new model is required.

Toilet is running: Your toilet is flushing fine but it does not know when to stop, or perhaps it stops and starts up again? Perhaps the flapper is getting caught on the chain so the repair is simple. However, more often, the problem is less obvious - a worn flapper, the valve and float mechanisms are sticking, the overflow tube is positioned incorrectly, other non-rubber components may be broken. When considering a repair, we can advise if a replacement may be a better option. Remember - there are now ergonomic options available which reduces water used per flush!

Toilet is backed up: Customers often try to fix this problem themselves but get frustrated quickly when results do not work. Repeated flushing will nearly always result in an overflow which will result in a disgusting mess in your home. Indeed home efforts can often compound the problem by compacting the blockage. Tampa Bay Plumbers uses the latest equipment to solve the problem with a combination of jetted plungers and plumbing snakes as there may be a clog deeper in the plumbing lines.

Requires replacement: Many customers seek a replacement toilet for reasons other than - It is broken! The market leaders produce sleeker, more ergonomic quieter one or two-piece toilets in various colors. Units come in one piece, two pieces, are elongated, have dual flush capability to reduce the amount of water used. Additionally, there are several toilet seat types and are now made out of wood, resin, acrylic and soft hygienic material. The experts of Tampa Bay Plumbers can install each unit quickly and professionally.

Does not flush well: All toilets flush slower over time and the most common cause is a build up of mineral deposits in the holes under the rim. Home experts would suggest that you use muratic acid and pour it through the system. We at Tampa Bay Plumbers strongly suggest you call us first. Muratic is a highly corrosive toxic acid with highly dangerous fumes. One mistake can be very painful, or worse. The technicians of Tampa Bay Plumbers are highly trained in the use of dangerous liquids and will provide a solution without any possible pain to you.

Also remember, some of the older toilets were built with a slow flush and there is no simple solution other than replacement of the unit.

Spontaneously turns on and shuts off your toilet is flushing fine but it does not know when to stop, or perhaps it stops and starts up again? Perhaps the flapper is getting caught on the chain so the repair is simple. However, more often, the problem is less obvious - a worn flapper, the valve and float mechanisms are sticking, the overflow tube is positioned incorrectly, other non-rubber components maybe broken.
